Beach Bums!

It has been so long since I have been to a nice beach.  The coast around here is not anything to talk about and I was really looking forward to PCB.  It was not as pretty as I remember from growing up...but storms usually bring in 'stuff'.  Anyway...it was still clear and the sand was wonderful.  I love dragging my feet in the sand.  The kids loved it...my big girl jumped right in and the other two followed the next day.  I of course waited until the last day and finally I walked out into the water.  I prefer being in the sand...but the water was not bad.

We also had our first chance to go sailing.  It was amazing!  So relaxing...and my little man even got to steer the boat.  Check out the photos...

My bi-annual post

Hello there...yep still around.  I would say that I am going to try to post more.  or that I will do better...but we all know that is a laugh.  I am posting now because my bro said he wanted to see the kids.  So I guess since it has been several months...I would post again.  Of course the next post the kids may be a year older.

So we are on our first week of summer vacation...and we are busy.  My little man has football camp, the girls are in soccer camp and we go from 8-5...it's back and forth all day.  While trying to squeeze in swimming and gardening.  We successfully completed the 5th, 2nd, and kindergarten.  We are moving on!  Here are a few pics that you can enjoy.

Get Away

OK...so it takes a 'mommy get-away' for me to blog.  I am supposed to be 'playing'...and I have been working the whole time I have been here.  But I am going to take a break from the nervous system and try getting back to digi scrapping.  Yes, it has been over a year since I have done anything.  I am behind.  Anyway...I was going through pics and I found these that I know Nana and Pops will LOVE!  Check out my razorback fans!

More than we expected!

Well, I mentioned before that we were waiting for a white Christmas.  We got more than we bargained for!  It was incredible.  Beautiful snow...thick snow...really cold...and no electricity.  I am sure people up north are used to that kind of weather.  But we were not quite prepared for the lack of lights and 'electronics'.  The kids had a blast playing in the snow and playing cards with Nana...but at 5pm it was dark.  We went to bed one night at 8pm.  All of us...not just the kids.  So the snow was great...we missed electricity for 2 days...but we did get home.  Check this out!

Expecting!

NO...not that type of expecting...but I have your attention.  We are expecting a white Christmas!  Yea!  We had a blast last night, we have shopped until the last minute, and we have stuffed ourselves with yummy food.  Santa came last night and we remember just how blessed we are.  The kids are overwhelmed with all the wonderful new goodies they have.  So I will just let the pictures do the talking!
